How It Works
Thank you for considering the 1st Tax.US for your income tax filing and planning needs. We have made it more convenient than ever to file your taxes with us. This introduction describes to you our process for filing your income tax returns and helps you get your information organized for us.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
We ask that you get us your tax information to us at least 5 days before their scheduled appointment. This gives us time to review and prepare the returns prior to your arrival as well as allows us to request any additional missing information. That way you leave with your return completed.

INCOME TAX FILING PROCESS
- Get Organized.
- Get your tax documents, business books, writeoffs, and prior year tax returns together. Click here for a detailed list of documents as well as worksheets that can help you get organized.
- Drop off your Documents. Choose the most convenient method for you.
- Drop Them Off at Our Offices at 127 S. Brand Blvd., Suite 114, Glendale, CA 91204-1342. If we are not there you are welcome to place them in a sealed envelope and drop them in our mailbox with 1st Tax.US written on the outside of the envelope. Feel free to call or text 1.818.263.4623 to see if someone is in the office as we’re often around outside of normal business hours.
- Fax your Documents to 1.866.585.2682
- Email your documents to us or share with Drop Box. For security reasons please call for the email address to use.
- Mail us photocopies of your Documents to 127 S. Brand Blvd., Suite 114, Glendale, CA 91204-1342. In case the post office loses your documents please make sure to only send us photocopies and retain your originals.
- 1st Tax.US will Prepare your Tax Returns.
- We will prepare the majority of your return prior to your arrival for your appointment.
- If we need any additional information, have any questions, or most importantly see any areas where we could potentially save you some additional money on your taxes we’ll contact you to request you bring additional information to the appointment
- Tax Appointment.
- We will account for any additional information you have as well as help you find any additional tax deductions.
- Review. Review. Review your returns with the 1st Tax.US and answer any questions you may have.
- Plan. We will help you plan to save even more money next year.
- Sign and Submit. Finally you’ll electronically sign your returns and we will submit them for E-filing with the IRS and State of California (or, any state). If you are owed a refund you should receive it in approximately 2 weeks.
